Does your pup take you on a 29 minute walk just to end up where you started? If so you just might be giving him to many choices that are overwhelming his (nose) senses. Puppies olfactory receptors are up, and running the moment he’s born.
Think about it this way; You take a child to a candy store that has over 10,000- 100,000 choices of sweet treats to choose from (BTW that’s how much more a dogs sense of smell is compared to ours), and you give said child one choice. More than likely the kid would have touched or licked 100 pieces before she made a decision.
So next time you take puppy on a toilet break offer him choices and praise and treat him when he makes his decision within minutes versus miinnnuutteess!
