Male #1: He is a Black and White this little guy is the oldest of the males. We’ve observed that he favors his Dad (sire) in personality meaning he is laid back, but is the first one to the dinner “table.” Even though his dad comes from champion bloodlines for herding. We can’t always gauge this in puppyhood. Mom (dam) comes from therapy, service dog bloodlines. This has been very evident in Ivy from puppyhood. Ivy protects the new puppies regardless of who they are belong to, and has helped me (professional trainer) to assess the dogs that we kennel and train on our farm. So we will just have to wait and see until male #1 gets a bit older, and make our assessment then.
