Let's Take the time to Appreciate Our Pups
Many times Bronwyn has managed to pull us out of a sheep jam, and doesn’t ask for anything in return. Once she’s done her job, she’ll turn to look at me, as if to ask, “is that it?” I respond by saying, “That’ll do, Bronwyn that’ll do!”, and she runs off to get herself a drink of water and soon thereafter is ready to head back in her kennel for a rest. Often I forget to pet her back, or kiss her nose and tell her that she is very loved and appreciated. Lately, I’ve made it a point to sit for a moment before putting our pups away after a run and let them know that we appreciate their unselfish devotion, and love they have brought to our lives.
