Doggy Bites: Peanut Butter Ginger Snaps 🐾

These yummy bites are delicious. I hope you try these and let me know your thoughts.

I don’t eat store bought PB but make my own using my favorite peanuts you can use organic or pesticide free grown peanuts. You saw that right; organic is not always pesticide free per the guidelines of the USDA. You can substitute your favorite flour for the flours listed below. Make sure you have a cookie while they’re warm so you can taste what your puppy is eating 😌. If your dog suffers from car sickness, these are excellent to offer puppy about 20-30 minutes, before your road trip. I actually make these for our chihuahua when we go on vacations and they seem to settle her stomach, and make traveling with her a much more pleasant experience.

Peanut Butter Ginger Snaps

Ingredients

2 Cups Almond Flour

1/2 Cup Coconut Flour

1/2 – 3/4 Cup Natural Peanut Butter

3 Tablespoons Ground Ginger

1 Tablespoon Cinnamon

1/4 Cup Water or Meat Broth (of your choice)

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 F.

1. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl and form a ball with the dough.

2. Roll the dough out until flat and use a cookie cutter to cut out the individual treats. I use miniature cookie cutters but if you don’t have any, feel free to get creative!

3. Place your treats onto your baking tray and bake for 25 minutes.

4. Turn oven off after the 25 minutes are done and leave the treats in the oven for 45 more minutes, or until crisp.

🐾 Makes approximately 20-30 treats (dependent on cookie cutter size).
